Celebrity MUA Paul Innis for Avon

Avon's new line of Ideal Shades brings in foundations, eyewear, and even facial cleansers for those who have darker complexions. Darker complexions such as Olive to black skin tones will love this new line. It caters right to their deeper more rich skin tones bringing out the beauty within them. To make this happen; Avon had brought in Paul Innis, a well known Makeup Artist, Color Expert, and Illustrator. He has worked with such prestigious companies as Clinique and is featured in many top magazines including Ebony.

As one of the most in-demand celebrity makeup artists, Paul has perfected the looks of many high profile celebrities and international supermodels. Paul has worked with the Avon color lab to develop an expanded shade palette... so much there's a more precise match for everyone.

Being from the Caribbean, his approach to the cosmetic industry is a breath of fresh air. He says that when he looks at a face, he does not see race, only color. Color is what makes a person look beautiful and he also believes that any woman can be beautiful with the right colors. He plans on making Avon's Ideal Shades product line perfect for those with a deeper, rich skin tone.

His suggestion for undereye coverup: "for blemishes, it's best to use a concealer that matches your skin tone. But for undereye circles, go one or two shades lighter. Trying to match your complexion won't give you the lift your eyes need." Now in new shades for deeper skin tones; Mahogany, Ebony and Chestnut!

Other suggestions he has for selecting the right foundation: "your skin might be lighter on the neck or darker on the chin. To find the shade that looks just right, hold 3 shades up to your upper jaw line. The correct one will disappear on your face." Now in new shades for foundation in deeper skin tones; Rich Expresso, Dark Cocoa, Sable, and Caramel!
